MEET JOY ALLEN
Dr. Joy Allen is a wife, mother, entrepreneur, executive mentor, speaker, and academic who is passionate about teaching the truth of God's word and challenging the popular view of church. "It's not where we go. It's not what we do. It's who we are! We are the Body of Christ!"
Dr. Joy Allen is an avid student of God's word, with a passion for Polemics and Apologetics. She holds earned degrees in Foreign Language (BA), Biblical Studies (MBS), and Christian Ministry (PhD) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and New Covenant International Bible College, respectively.
Joy has been active in public ministry since 1994. After founding Breath of Life International in 2008, where she and her husband served as pastors and overseers for thirteen years, she continues her ministry service as Founder and President of W.A.T.C.H. (We Are the Church) Ministries and spiritual mentor to many.
An affirmed apostle and prophet, Joy labors in ministry alongside her husband, Chris, and is supported by their two children, Jaaron and Jasmine. In addition to her ministry works, she is a published author and successful entrepreneur, owning a number of small businesses, most notably E3 Personal Defense & Safety. Professionally, Joy has built a successful career in Clinical Research as an executive leader within the rare disease, genetic disorder, and cancer research space. She occasionally serves as an Adjunct Professor for a select number of Bible colleges. In her spare time, Joy enjoys singing, reading, writing, working out, and WORSHIP!
